Like it or not, both of the major decisions tonight were correct. If Aguero had scored the Llorente goal then opinions would change on here. Hatred for Spurs clouds some people’s judgement.

Re: Tuesday football
Spurs are in the CL semi final, that’s the bottom line.

Let that sink in for a moment. I think they will make the final. I’ll support whoever plays against them. If it’s Liverpool, so be it, but it’s a case of getting shot or stabbed,

Agree with that Sven... it's all too subjective... the two commentators on the Canadian channel I was watching both had differing views... one was saying it brushed his arm... the other said it was nowhere near his arm and it was probably his arm hitting his body that made his arm move... I certainly could not call it either way...

Master - do you view the world backwards?

Are you a robot?

When viewing it sideways and with one eye closed it can clearly be seen that it brushes his phallus.

Definitely did hit his arm. Easier to see when playing it backwards https://t.co/BPtzlTKOru

Re: Tuesday football
If a referee is going to go the edge of the pitch and squint at a tv while poking his finger at it and decide the fate of a massive game they need to give him the tools to do it.
With DRS in cricket they have tracking & snicko and multiple angles.
He seemed to be looking at one inconclusive angle and was unsure that he was getting much to help him

Maybe it was BT Sport then?? Offside was shown 4 or 5 times... no question it was... with VAR that works as it should.... the other stuff?? Still guess work....

Worst possible outcome is an all English final with the two cuntiest teams around and one of them will win it.
At least if only one gets to the final we can laugh at them losing it.

Re: Tuesday football
Saw this exactly like Mike. Clear handball but also clear the ref was shown the view from behind the goal, and the view across the box and not the diagonal view that so clearly showed the contact with the arm. Not one slow Mo view of the Sterling 'offside' was shown during the game either.

Mad Dog 12:15 Thu Apr 18
Re: Tuesday football
The VAR didn't show the angle where it clearly hit his arm.

Accidental, but still hit his arm first.

This angle, which the ref wasn't shown is even more definitive than the definitive angle that shows his muscles ripple as the ball hits his arm.

You mean the bt that had an ex sp*rs player host the show, an ex sp*rs player on co commentary, an ex sp*rs player in the studio and an ex man u player also in studio.

Lineker, jenas, hoddle, Ferdinand. Yeah I'm sure they all wanted man city to win.
